The process uses an RF induction coil uniformly wound around the die for even mold heating and controlled plastic formation.

Customer Requirement:
Customer wanted to bring the manufacturing of 2.5" long dilators in-house because he was experiencing issues with deformed tips in the field. They requested to use 4" long stroke platform for future projects.
ONEX RF Solution:
We redesigned our LX1 platform by extending the body and used a 100mm stroke cylinder to form long catheters.
We then developed new carbide dies and did the process development. Customer liked the results and purchased the LX3 model with the extended stroke and larger die cassette.

Customer wanted to bring the manufacturing of 3.5" long introducers in-house because he experienced consistency issues with forming the long tips.
